BFA has once again become a finalist in the Xero Awards. While last year they won the Xero Large Accounting Partner of the Year, this year they are a finalist in a new category – Xero Vertical NZ Vertical Partner of the Year for the 2021 Xero Awards.

This is a brand new award this year with BFA’s entry focussing on the work we do helping small businesses in the agriculture space.

Advisory services: You offer specialised advisory services related to cash flow, planning and business growth.

Marketing: You hold your firm out as specialising in an industry vertical and have accolades and/or experience to support this.

Client and community advocacy: You connect with clients and the wider community through events and drop-in days, raise awareness of the benefits of Xero, and have a social and marketing presence.

Xero commitment: You promote Xero where possible and prioritise Xero business edition plans and advanced features over Xero Cashbook and Xero Ledger plans. At least 60% of your clients must be on a Xero business edition plan.

Utilises their network: You use your network to support clients’ businesses with a diverse range of services, for example IT, insurance, legal.

Other finalists in this category are FARMit Accountants, Oxygen Advisors and We Accounting.

Jared Mawson, Director at BFA says “We are thrilled to once again be a finalist in the Xero Awards. The BFA team continue to have a positive and significant effect on the Agri and tech industries. We have put forward a strong entry for the work we do with our agribusiness clients and the overall community. Integrating Agri and tech is essential to the future of our clients and their industry. The entry reflects not only the work of our Agri team but the entire team at BFA as well as the support of the clients we work with. Fingers crossed we can go back-to-back!”

The Awards ceremony was due to be held in December, however due to Covid restrictions this is now postponed to the New Year.
